Their is a lot happening around the club at the moment.
For anyone interested in paddling a K or K1 Rob McConnell will be holding a  induction night this Wednesday night. 6.00 – 7.00 pm
For those that have not paddled a K1 this is the ideal boat for our river as they a reasonably stable and reasonably fast. Many members have joined as recreational paddlers and this is a great way to improve your paddling skills, You need to let Rob know as numbers are limited
If you cannot make this week session, I am sure Rob can arrange another time.
The next ” Come and Try” is this Sunday 27/11/2016 If you would like to experience canoeing. As the weather is staring to improve this is an ideal opportunity for for you to come down to the club and have a paddle for a little while.
If you are already an club member why not bring some members of your family are neighbour down to have a try.

ECC Pool Night. 29/11/2016
The pool nights are an opportunity for for paddlers, regardless of discipline or skill level to learn the techniques required in an emergency situation. Every one fall out of a boat, it is a lot better if you know how to get back in or roll back up. For those that are interested we can work on Eskimo rolls. It is a lot easier to lean in a worm pool.

The next induction course starts on the 3rd December. ( Two Saturday mornings) All new members must do an induction course before becoming a member . If you are interested in becoming an ECC members please register for the course
Karenna is away caning in the Murray Marathon ( We hope she is enjoying it ) so it may take a day or so for some one to come back to you.
Our annual Christmas part will be held at the club on 7th December. All members are encourage to come down and meet other club members, have some thing to eat and drink and enjoy.
